Territorial scope: the entire territory of the European Union. Cover extends to activity in Europe and thereby meets at least the requirements of § 8(4) PartGG in conjunction with § 51a BRAO.

Out-of-court dispute resolution

In disputes between lawyers and their clients there is, on application, the possibility of out-of-court conciliation before the competent regional bar (Rechtsanwaltskammer Karlsruhe) or before the Schlichtungsstelle der Rechtsanwaltschaft at the Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer (schlichtungsstelle@brak.de).

Ribas & Partner mbB does not participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and is not obliged to do so.

Avoiding conflicts of interest

Acting for conflicting interests is prohibited to lawyers under professional rules (§ 43a(4) BRAO). Before accepting a mandate we therefore always check whether a conflict of interest or a bar to acting exists.
